Editorial Summary
Purple Garden earns the "Best App Experience" badge in our community rankings for delivering the most modern, user-friendly mobile experience in the psychic reading space. In an industry where many platforms still rely on dated interfaces, Purple Garden feels refreshingly current. Our community members who prioritize convenience and technology consistently recommend it.
The standout feature is video readings. Purple Garden offers the most reliable video calling in our experience, letting you see your reader face-to-face during sessions. Our members report that this visual connection significantly enhances trust and engagement. For people who are skeptical about phone-only psychics, video adds a layer of transparency that phone and chat cannot match. Several community members specifically credit video readings with converting them from skeptics to regular users.
The primary trade-off is maturity. Purple Garden is the newest platform in our rankings, and it shows in a smaller, less established reader pool. Our members report more inconsistency in reader quality compared to platforms with stricter screening like California Psychics. However, the platform is growing quickly and our members note visible improvements in reader quality and platform features over time.
Pricing is competitive, with many readers starting under $2 per minute and sign-up credits available for new users. This makes Purple Garden one of the most accessible platforms for first-time users. Our community recommends it as an excellent starting point, particularly for younger users who expect a polished mobile experience.

Mixed bag but the app is great
Mixed bag for me. The app is great and super easy to use, but I had to go through a few readers before finding one that resonated. Video readings are a nice touch though — being able to see the reader's face added a whole layer of trust to the experience. My third reader was excellent and gave me solid career advice. The first two were just OK. My suggestion: read the reviews carefully before choosing and don't get discouraged if your first pick isn't great.
Best psychic reading app hands down
I have tried the apps for Keen, Kasamba, and Purple Garden. Purple Garden wins by a mile. The interface is clean, browsing readers is intuitive, and the video call quality is excellent. My first reading was via video and it felt like FaceTiming a friend who happens to be psychic. My reader picked up on my energy immediately and talked about a family conflict I'd been dealing with — without me mentioning family at all. She gave me practical advice on how to approach a conversation with my sister and it worked beautifully. The app experience matters when you're doing something this personal, and Purple Garden nails it.
Video readings changed my mind about online psychics
I was always skeptical about phone psychics because, well, anyone can say anything over the phone. Video changed that for me. On Purple Garden, I could see my reader's face, watch her shuffle cards, see her genuine reactions. It felt real in a way phone readings never did. The reading itself was good — she identified my relationship pattern of self-sabotage and gave me specific things to watch for. Not life-changing but definitely insightful. I'm scheduling a follow-up next month.
Found an amazing numerologist here
I'm specifically into numerology and it's hard to find legit numerologists on most platforms. Purple Garden had several, and the one I chose was phenomenal. She did a full life path analysis using my birthdate and name, and the insights were incredibly detailed and specific. She identified challenges I've been facing that aligned exactly with my personal year number cycle. Most impressive was her ability to pinpoint the timing of key life events based on my numerological chart. If numerology is your thing, this platform has genuine specialists.
Great for short, focused readings
What I like about Purple Garden is the culture around shorter sessions. On other platforms I've felt pressured to extend readings, but here it seems normal to do a quick 10-minute check-in. My reader was efficient and to the point — no padding, no stalling. She answered my specific question about a job interview, gave me a clear yes-or-no plus context, and we wrapped up in 12 minutes. Cost me under $15. Perfect for when you need a focused answer, not a full life reading.
Newer readers need more vetting
My experience was underwhelming. I chose a newer reader with lower rates and got what I paid for — a lot of vague, generic statements that could apply to anyone. "You're going through a transition." "Someone close to you is causing stress." Really? I could say that about literally anyone. When I tried to get more specific answers, she just repeated variations of the same generic insights. The platform needs to do better at vetting newer readers. I'll try again with a more established reader but my first impression wasn't great.
The future of psychic readings
Purple Garden feels like what psychic reading platforms should be in 2026. Modern app, video capability, fair pricing, and a growing community of talented readers. I've been using the platform for about 8 months now and I've watched it improve in real time — new features, better reader profiles, improved video quality. My regular reader does tarot over video and it's an incredible experience watching the cards come up while she explains their meaning. If you're someone who values technology and user experience alongside the spiritual, this is your platform. The sign-up credits make it easy to try without risk.
Decent but still maturing
Purple Garden is fine. Good app, reasonable prices, some good readers. But compared to platforms that have been around for decades like California Psychics or Psychic Source, it still feels like it's finding its footing. The reader pool is smaller and less established. I had a perfectly OK reading — nothing wrong with it, nothing amazing about it either. I think this platform will be great in a couple years as it matures. For now, it's a solid option if you love the app experience, but for pure reading quality, the older platforms still edge it out in my experience.
Perfect for late-night sessions
I tend to want readings at weird hours — 11pm, 2am, when I'm lying in bed overthinking life. Purple Garden always seems to have readers available, and the app makes it effortless to start a session from my phone in bed. My go-to reader is a tarot specialist who does chat readings and she's been consistently insightful. She helped me work through anxiety about a big move and her guidance was practical and grounding. The convenience factor of this platform is unbeatable.
